FAQ

Your questions, our answers

How does RockFi differ from Banque Transatlantique?

In the nature of the firm and the investment universe. RockFi is an open-architecture private wealth management firm whose fee structure depends on the chosen offering and is set out in the engagement letter. Banque Transatlantique is a fully licensed bank, a subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, which charges a Private Banking account fee, half-yearly management fees depending on the service chosen, and fund fees.

‍

In terms of investment universe, RockFi lists over 3,000 solutions with several partner insurers, while Banque Transatlantique entrusts its advisory and discretionary management to its subsidiary Dubly Transatlantique Gestion and distributes French life insurance from ACM Vie, an entity of the same group.

Who are RockFi and Banque Transatlantique for?

RockFi supports financial assets from €250,000, with no upper limit, offering the same support from a first portfolio to be structured to portfolios worth several million euros.

‍

Banque Transatlantique does not publish an entry threshold. It serves families, entrepreneurs, executives holding performance shares or stock options, French nationals living abroad and institutional clients such as foundations and associations, from ten offices in France, including its Paris head office, and nine locations abroad.

What fees do you really pay on life insurance at each firm?

There are three layers of fees in both cases: the advisory fee, the contract fees and the fund fees. At RockFi, the first layer depends on the chosen offering and is set out in the engagement letter; one of the options is based on fixed annual fees, around 1% of assets on average.

‍

At Banque Transatlantique, the public fee brochure details the securities account fees, but not those of life insurance contracts: they appear in each contract's own documentation, to be requested from your private banker.
