RockFi raises €18 million in Series A funding and launches its dedicated client portal

Less than a year after an initial €3 million seed round, RockFi, the French fintech aiming to reinvent private wealth management through an approach that combines expert advice with cutting-edge technology, has announced an €18 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Partech, with renewed participation from Varsity and several business angels, including Pennylane founders Arthur Waller and Félix Blossier. This capital injection will enable RockFi to accelerate its development to reach its goal of €1 billion in assets under management by the end of 2026.
A French fintech founded in 2023 by Pierre Marin, Marie Bedu, and Maxime Durand, alongside former private banking directors including Stéphane Carles (formerly of SG Private Banking) and Vincent Pagny (formerly of HSBC Gestion Privée), RockFi is redefining the private wealth management experience through its network of independent private bankers and the development of its proprietary technology platform.
The RockFi experience: an exclusive approach for a new generation of investors. RockFi serves a clientele of entrepreneurs, senior executives, high-level athletes, and artists who are looking for high-performance, dynamic wealth management tailored to modern needs. These investors prefer a bespoke approach where human expertise is combined with a digital experience redesigned for greater simplicity and transparency. RockFi stands out with its family office approach, providing clients with a dedicated private banker capable of building a comprehensive wealth strategy that integrates financial investments, tax planning, and estate succession.
Its high-end offering includes 3,000 financial products across all asset classes, with a particular focus on private equity, supported by 30 partnerships with prestigious firms such as Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, and Goldman Sachs.
Through its proprietary technology platform, RockFi provides its clients with comprehensive reporting on their assets, featuring real-time tracking and detailed analysis.
Access to RockFi’s services is reserved for those with a minimum investment of €250,000, using a subscription model based on an annual fee to reflect the value of this exclusive, personalised support.
Exceptional growth and proven traction
Less than a year after its commercial launch, 500 clients have already signed up for RockFi’s services, driving a 25% month-on-month growth in business. At the same time, its headcount has grown rapidly to 50 employees, including 25 private bankers, spread across six offices opened throughout France (Paris, Lille, Bordeaux, Lyon, Annecy, and Toulon).
This exceptional traction illustrates the relevance of the RockFi model, which combines the best of human expertise in wealth management with the power of technology to offer a high-end, accessible service.
"We want to breathe new life into private wealth management, into the careers of those who work in it, and into the assets of their clients. This funding allows us to scale up to serve our clients even better, in France and, eventually, in Europe, with the ambition of quickly establishing ourselves as a leader in next-generation wealth management," says Pierre Marin, co-founder and CEO of RockFi.
With this funding, RockFi plans to invest heavily in its technology and recruit 60 new private bankers over the next 12 months. The territorial expansion plan includes opening in one new city per month, starting with Nice, Cannes, Toulouse, Rennes, and Strasbourg, reflecting a commitment to proximity and increasingly specialised support for regional investors and entrepreneurs.
Our clients aren't looking for a product. They expect a partnership.
Leading investors to support RockFi
This Series A round brings top-tier financial partners to RockFi. Partech enters the company's capital by leading the round. As part of this, Philippe Collombel, co-founder and General Partner at Partech, joins the RockFi board of directors alongside Didier Valet (former Deputy CEO of Société Générale) and Antoine Freysz (serial entrepreneur and investor via Kerala Ventures). Varsity, the fund co-founded by Didier Valet which led RockFi’s seed round in 2024, has reaffirmed its confidence by reinvesting significantly in this round. RockFi also benefits from the support of new strategic business angels such as Arthur Waller and Félix Blossier (co-founders of Pennylane) and Mark Ransford (former Managing Director at Apax).
"We are delighted to support RockFi in this new phase of growth. Its model—combining a technology platform with human expertise—addresses a strong demand in the wealth management market. The traction achieved in just a few months demonstrates RockFi's potential to become a key player in a sector that is set to be transformed," says Philippe Collombel, co-founder and General Partner at Partech.
"From the very beginning of RockFi, we were convinced by the vision of Pierre and his team to transform private wealth management. In less than a year, they have executed this vision with remarkable efficiency and tangible results. As an early investor, it felt natural to strengthen our support during this Series A to help RockFi in its expansion," adds Didier Valet, co-founder of the Varsity fund.
An innovative technological and wealth management offering
The funds raised will allow RockFi to accelerate its innovation and expand its service offering. In March, the fintech launched a dedicated client app, which provides each client with comprehensive, detailed, and real-time reporting on their entire financial portfolio. Designed to offer a 360° view of wealth, this tool gives every investor access to the valuation and allocation of their assets, as well as precise tracking of movements and performance. Developed with its clients and partners, it embodies RockFi’s commitment to combining transparency, simplicity, and technological excellence for a new era of private wealth management.
RockFi relies on a team of 12 engineers, which it plans to double this year, to continue expanding its range of services, particularly in terms of reporting and identifying investment opportunities tailored to each client portfolio.
Furthermore, RockFi integrates both French and Luxembourgish life insurance solutions to optimise the tax and estate situations of its wealthiest clients. It also offers a wealth engineering service, including personalised assistance with tax returns, providing its clients with comprehensive support that is unique in the market.
